Honoring the memory of
Gershon
Fried ז"ל
More than a year ago, our dear friend Gershon (Tommy) Fried passed away. He had been one of our outstanding members, always active in our congregation, promoting Torah study, taking part in management decisions and influencing religious activities. We considered that writing a Sefer Torah in his memory would be a fitting tribute.
His family were delighted and have already set the process in motion by engaging a sofer. They are underwriting the project and have agreed that any extra funds raised should be used for additional activities in our kehilla, in his memory.
We invite all our members and friends to participate in this initiative.
